# **About frndr **

frndr helps you find Instagram group chats worth joining: friends, memes, anime, study groups, your city, your culture and more, all sorted by topic so you can find your people in a few taps.

## How it works

1. **Browse** group chats by [topic](https://frndr.io/groups), or search for a city, interest or vibe. No account needed.
2. **Pick a group** and read what it’s about, how active it is and how long it’s been listed.
3. **Join**: sign in with Google, add your name and Instagram username, and we open the group’s invite link.

Signing in keeps out bots and lets group admins know who’s joining. We never post anything for you, and we don’t connect to your Instagram account. See our [Privacy Policy](https://frndr.io/privacy) for exactly what we keep.

## Who runs the groups

frndr is a directory. Most groups are run by their own admins, who list them here for free. Groups with the verified badge are run by the frndr team. Either way, everyone in a group chat is expected to follow Instagram’s rules and our [Community Rules](https://frndr.io/terms#community-rules): be kind, keep it safe for work, and never ask anyone for money or passwords.

## Run a group chat?

[List it for free](https://frndr.io/submit). We review every new listing, usually within a day, then it shows up in its topic and in search, where people looking for a chat like yours can find it.

## Something wrong?

Every group page has a **Report listing** link for dead links, wrong topics, spam or anything that breaks the rules. For anything else, email us at [=nuthsaid5@gmail.com](mailto:=nuthsaid5@gmail.com).
